The location of this lodge is wonderful, being just one exit away from the entrance of Banff National Park. It is also conveniently close to shops for groceries and other necessities. the units offer spacious rooms and fully equipped kitchens, perfect for cooking your own meals and saving money. the cleanliness of the units is generally good, with clean towels readily available.

The noise control at the lodge can be a downside, as there is no cut off time for the hot tub area, leading to some noisy nights.

The rate for the two bedroom unit was very good at $99 special. We liked having all that space just like a real home. It's only 15 mins to Banff and 5 mins to Canmore.

We stayed here last year and had no complaints as last year's unit was fabulous, but the unit we were in this year (#304) was not nearly as nice. The kitchen was poorly equipped (there was not even a steak knife, nor a paring knife, vegetable peeler or a can opener). The pots and pans were of the cheapest quality with the finish severly scratched and burnt. Clearly someone assumed no one planned to do any cooking or bar-b-queing in this unit. Some of the furniture was tacky and in need of repair. The coffee table had much of the wood laminate torn off of it. A chair in the bedroom had been sprayed (accidentally, I assume) with some substance that had left a rough coating on the fabric which made it look very dirty. Whoever painted the unit did a poor job as there was paint on the carpets and on the toilet tank and on the kitchen table. Overall, this unit just looked tacky and unloved. If you can get one of the better unit's then this is a very good place to stay.

Cozy little mountain retreat over the holidays! Beds are comfortable and it was a super cozy place to spend Christmas! Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings.

What could have been improved was the lack of attention to details like providing garbage bags and bigger recycling containers. , the bathroom could be a bit more modern.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to both Banff and the Canmore area. It was conveniently situated near beautiful attractions, such as the national park, and provided a great base for exploring the area. the room itself was nice, with comfortable beds and pillows. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and we received a warm welcome before our arrival.

This made it difficult to control the temperature, and at times, it became uncomfortably hot.

I like the position of the hotel, the room, the comfort, the value for the money I paid.

The hot tub is too small for the hole number of guests.

Very convenient location to stay at for skiing at the Canmore Nordic Center. We enjoyed the quiet nights and spacious rooms. The kitchenette was well equipped with basics.

This place is perfect for backpackers with its spacious and clean rooms, equipped with gas fireplaces. the location is ideal, right on the boundary of Banff National Park, just a short drive away from Canmore and Banff Village. Definitely recommended for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Felt safe, nothing to complain about.

Loved the updated units, hardwood floors, and mountain view. Great value for the spacious one-bedroom with two queen beds. Magical night by the fire pit. Well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Convenient self check-in. Hot tub on-site with free towels. Close to Canmore center and Banff.

    All was good.
